PERLS 495 - Senior Research Experience


★ 3 (fi 6) (either term, 0-0-3) This is an independent study course that allows students to explore a research topic under the supervision of a Doctoral student. Students will use the resources of libraries, laboratories, and current research projects with the goal of gaining an understanding of the process of conducting research. The student will be introduced to methodology and theory in a designated research area through reading, discussion, and practical application. Normally for students in their fourth year of study. Note: Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 over their last 30 credits. Prerequisite: PEDS 209 or 409 or RLS 210 and consent of the Associate Dean, (Undergraduate Programs). Students must arrange a topic with a Doctoral student.
