PERLS 323 - Aboriginal Peoples and Physical Practices: Canadian Perspectives


★ 3 (fi 6) (either term, 3-0-0) This course explores ways in which physical practices influence the health of Aboriginal peoples. In this context health is defined as a state of balance involving body, emotions, mind, and spirit. The various forms of physical activity, sport, recreation, and leisure activities in which Aboriginal peoples participate will be examined. Prerequisite: PERLS 104 or NS 111
